One Man Positively Crossing America with Hope, Faith, Love, and God
Synopsis
"I am just an ordinary man with faith in the extraordinary God and by His power working in me and through me, extraordinary things are accomplished!"
In 2004, Harold Cameron was diagnosed with two brain tumors. In an instant, his life changed drastically.
Rather than wallow in depression and self-pity, Harold mustered every ounce of hope and faith and love that was within him.
The result is a plan. Despite all the odds, Harold is going to fight brain tumors and spread his message of hope, faith, and love the best way he knows how: By walking across America and back.
This is not the story of a hero. It's not the story of a saint or a martyr.
This is the story of Harold Cameron -- an ordinary man with faith in the extraordinary God.
This is why he walks.
Author's Statement
This book is all about why I walk the walk and talk the talk I do today. Although this book is about me, my life, and my walk -- literally and spiritually -- across America and back, it is not because of me or anything that I have done that I am able to write it. In other words. I cannot nor will I take the credit for this book. God and his son Jesus Christ get all the "credit."
Miles for Hope
Portions of the proceeds from Why I Walk will be donated to Miles For Hope to fund brain tumor and brain cancer education, fund clinical trials and research, and provide patient services for children as well as adults who have brain tumors or brain cancer.
